Kedvenc out olimpikonunk a párjával és családjával Floridába utazott, ahol többek között állatkertben és Disneylandben is jártak.
Utóbbi helyen Tomot megölelte Mickey egér, és ezt látva Oscar-díjas párja, Dustin Lance Black viccesen rászólt a figurára: „Vetted le róla a kezed!”
A kalandok itt nem értek véget, előző napon egy lelkes zsiráf megnyalta az őt salátával etető sportolót. Nem tudjuk hibáztatni érte. Tom Daley szerencsénkre lelkiismeretesen dokumentálta a nyaralást, fél tucat videót is készített, íme.
