1999 óta minden év szeptember 23-án ünnepeljük a Biszexuális Láthatóság Napját.
Az első rendezvényre a dél-afrikai Johannesburgban került sor, az azóta eltelt években azonban egyre nő a biszexuális közösség láthatóságával foglalkozó események, felvonulások, online posztok száma. A biszexuális közösség a mai napig az egyik legkevésbé látható szexuális kisebbség, ezért is fontos, hogy az LMBTQ-közösség ne feledkezzen meg róla.
A biszexuális láthatóság egyik fontos mérföldköve volt, amikor 2015 őszén Sarah Paulson amerikai színésznő beszélt szexuális orientációjáról. A vele készült interjúról lásd cikkünket a keretes cikkben:
